We currently have a team of upbeat, driven and enthusiastic roofers and are looking to expand our team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on various types of buildings. This is a physically demanding role that requires working at heights and using a variety of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Install new roofs on residential and commercial buildings, including but not limited to; tiled, slated and flat roofs
- Repair and replace damaged or worn-out roofs
- Inspect roofs for leaks, damage, or other issues
- Install insulation and vapor barrier

-Lead welding preferred but not essential
- Apply waterproofing materials to roofs
- Use power tools, hand tools, and other equipment to complete roofing tasks
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of roofing techniques and materials
- Must be confident in carrying out the following works; Plastic repairs/ new installs, mortar works, lead works
- Experience in masonry, carpentry, welding, or other related trades is a plus but not essential
- Ability to fabricate and install various types of roofing systems
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for roofing tasks
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, climbing, and working at heights
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve roofing issues
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and precise installation

The successful candidate will have the following:

- A high standard of workmanship and good technical knowledge
- Fluent in English language
- Full UK Driving licence- Essential. 6 points maximum
- Company van provided with a weekly fuel allowance
- Company phone provided
