We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing and related construction tasks, with a strong understanding of building structures and materials. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, the ability to work effectively as part of a team and a driving licence would be ideal As you would get your own van.
Duties
Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofs, ensuring they are watertight and structurally sound.
Work with different roofing materials, including slate and tiled roof, metal, and flat roofing systems.
install roof components according to schematics and building specifications.
Perform masonry work as needed to support roofing structures.
Conduct inspections of roofs to identify issues or areas needing repair.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various roofing tasks.
Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
Lift heavy materials and equipment as required during installation or repair processes.
Qualifications
Proven experience in roofing or a related construction field is essential.
Familiarity with masonry techniques is an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret schematics for building projects.
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks.
Strong physical fitness with the capability for heavy lifting and working at heights.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction environments.
Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
