We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roofer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, safety procedures, and the ability to work effectively at heights. Duties

Installing new roofs using various materials such as tiles, shingles, and metal sheets Repairing and replacing damaged or worn roofing components Interpreting schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation Operating power tools, hand tools, and specialised equipment safely and efficiently Fabricating custom components through welding, carpentry, or masonry as required Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and building regulations Assisting with the preparation of sites, including heavy lifting of materials and equipment Conducting inspections to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions Collaborating with team members to complete projects on time and within budget

Qualifications

Proven experience in roofing or related construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, or plumbing Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised roofing equipment Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights Familiarity with safety protocols relevant to roofing work Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Valid relevant certifications or licences are desirable but not essential
Candidates should be organised, safety-conscious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in construction environments involving heavy lifting, masonry, plumbing, or fabrication will be considered advantageous.
