We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills and experience in various trades, enabling them to undertake diverse tasks in construction and maintenance. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently as well as part of a team, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Candidate must be reliable and have good time keeping skills, if you feel you can not be reliable please do not apply. Driving licence not essential but must be able to get themselves to the job and or a place of pick up each morning.
Duties
Interpret and work from schematics to execute projects accurately.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.
Engage in roofing activities, including installation, repair, and maintenance.
Carry out fabrication work to create custom components as needed.
Execute carpentry duties, including framing, fitting, and finishing work.
Undertake masonry work, such as bricklaying or stonework, ensuring structural integrity.
Handle heavy lifting safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
Skills
Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics for effective project execution.
Competent in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to construction tasks.
Experience in roofing practices and materials.
Knowledge of fabrication processes for creating custom solutions.
Solid carpentry skills with the ability to perform both rough and finish work.
Understanding of plumbing systems and ability to perform repairs or installations.
Familiarity with masonry techniques for building or repairing structures.
