We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer's labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with installation, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on various types of buildings. Responsibilities

Installing new roofing systems in accordance with project specifications and schematics Repairing and maintaining existing roofs to ensure durability and weather resistance Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and effectively Reading and interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans Performing heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, tiles, or metal sheets Welding, fabrication, or carpentry work as required for custom roofing solutions Assisting with masonry or plumbing tasks related to roofing projects where necessary Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high quality standards

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised roofing equipment Knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans Experience with welding, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, or plumbing is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in a construction environment Strong understanding of roofing techniques specific to various materials (e.g., tiles, metal sheets) Familiarity with safety procedures related to working at heights and around construction sites Good organisational skills with attention to detail for precise installation and repairs Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
