Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with the ability to assemble, fabricate, and install structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires proficiency with both hand tools and power tools, as well as a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install wooden structures such as frameworks, door frames, and cabinets. Fabricate custom woodwork according to specifications and design plans. Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square to meet project requirements. Perform heavy lifting as necessary for transporting materials and equipment on-site. Conduct repairs on existing structures, including masonry and joinery work. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, to ensure seamless integration of all components. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, saws) and power tools (e.g., drills, sanders). Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, including joinery and masonry skills. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods of time. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
