Job Description

RTB Roofing are seeking an experienced

Roofing Contracts Manager

to oversee the delivery of roofing projects across all disciplines, with a strong focus on

flat and pitched roofing works

. This is a full-time role requiring a proactive, organised individual capable of managing multiple projects, coordinating site teams, and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Contract & Project Management

Manage a portfolio of roofing projects from award through to completion Ensure full compliance with contract requirements throughout the project lifecycle Monitor project progress and address any deviations from programme or contract terms Collaborate with internal teams to resolve contract, programme, or operational issues Maintain accurate contract documentation and project records
Client & Stakeholder Management

Liaise with clients before, during, and after project delivery Form and maintain close working relationships with key repeat clients Attend site meetings and act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects
Site & Workforce Management

Manage roofing operatives and subcontractors, including gang scheduling Ensure works are carried out to specification, quality standards, and programme Carry out site visits, surveys, and progress inspections as required
Health & Safety

Write, implement, and manage H&S RAMS for roofing projects Ensure compliance with all health & safety requirements on site Manage and report any accidents or near-miss incidents Carry out regular H&S site audits
Commercial Awareness

Liaise with the commercial team on job performance and cost control Monitor variations and assist in maintaining project profitability

Key Requirements

Technical Knowledge

Strong knowledge of

flat roofing systems

(liquid, BUR, and single ply) Experience in

traditional pitched roofing

is advantageous
Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a Roofing Contracts Manager or similar role Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight timescales Excellent organisational and communication skills Good technical roofing and construction knowledge Strong attention to detail Competent in Microsoft Office and digital drawings Ability to work under pressure and manage site-based teams effectively
Other

Full clean driving licence required

Pay: 40,000.00-70,000.00 per year
