Westdale Midlands Ltd are a specialised construction company, undertaking retrofit energy efficiency works on Social Housing properties in the Coventry & Nuneaton areas. These works necessitate roofline extension works, along with a range of other roofing installations to bring the properties we are working on to a higher energy rating.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Roofing Inspector to check the re-roofing & roofline extension process of our works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all of the roofing works have been completed to a high standard and in accordance with industry & system supplier standards to at all times.

Duties: - Coordinating with all Site Teams to check on and report on the quality of completed works - Complete a quality checklist, with evidentiary photographs of finished roofing works - Highlight any non-compliance or incomplete works - Guidance for the roofing operatives on the required standards of works to get sign off and compliance - Conducting quality and safety inspections daily - Day to day problem solving - Liaising with Management team and reporting on progress - Using specialist quality inspection computer programmes
Skills:
- Ability to oversee & coordinate labour- Team player
- Experience with roofing works essential
- Knowledge of carpentry for building custom packaging solutions
- IT proficiency to update progress sheets & quality checklists
- Working at Heights with confidence

- Asbestos awareness

- SMSTS desirable

This position requires a candidate who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, possess strong attention to detail, and communicate effectively with team members. If you have a background in construction or an ex Roofer with supervisory experience, this role may be a great fit for you.
