Job Description
Carmelite Hotel, 53 bedroomed hotel in the city centre.
We currently have a long term contract utilising all the hotel bedrooms which we clean twice a week along with public & communal areas. Generally the guests can be with us for 3 months+ and are mostly families.
Main duties are cleaning the hotel bedrooms to a high standard following a designated check list & in a timely manner. Common tasks - making beds, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning floors hoovering, dusting & general cleaning. Experience in hotel cleaning an advantage but not necessary as training will be given. As these guests are long term the typical "hotel cleaning" can not always be done as they have a lot of items in their room for us to work around, however we need to do our best to keep on top of the cleaning in order to keep the rooms well maintained. The guests come from all different backgrounds so cultural & behavioural awareness essential. The role will involve some weekend work so the candidate should be available if required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Experience:
housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
