Job Overview:

As a

Room Attendant

, you will be responsible for the cleaning and presentation of guest bedrooms and apartments. Your attention to detail and pride in your work will directly contribute to creating memorable stays for our guests. This role is physical and fast-paced, ideal for someone who enjoys keeping busy, working independently, and being part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and prepare guest rooms and apartments to a high standard Change bed linen, restock towels, and replace amenities Clean bathrooms, dust surfaces, vacuum floors, and ensure spaces are spotless Follow cleaning checklists and ensure consistency in presentation Ensure guest privacy and security are respected at all times Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly Maintain housekeeping supplies and inform supervisors when restocking is needed Handle laundry as required, including stripping and bagging linen Assist with occasional public area cleaning or back-of-house areas if needed Communicate professionally with guests when encountered on shift
Person Specification:

Experience:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not essential - full training provided Experience in a hotel or serviced apartment setting is a plus

Flexibility:

Due to the nature of the role, hours may vary based on occupancy levels. You may be asked to work different shifts or additional hours, including weekends and Bank Holidays, to meet the needs of the business.
