Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team in the hospitality sector. As a Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay by maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

Clean and prepare guest rooms, including changing bed linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms. Restock room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens as required. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. Ensure all public areas are kept clean and tidy, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations within the hotel.

Skills

Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleaning standards. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly disposition towards guests and colleagues. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
