Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. This role is vital in maintaining the overall cleanliness and presentation of our establishment, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and comfortable during their stay.

Duties

Clean and service guest rooms according to established standards, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Change bed linens and towels, ensuring fresh supplies are provided for each guest. Restock room amenities such as toiletries, coffee supplies, and other essentials as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. Assist with laundry duties when required, ensuring that linens are cleaned and returned to service efficiently. Uphold a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in all tasks performed. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests or inquiries with a friendly attitude.

Experience

Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and a friendly disposition towards guests and colleagues alike. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required by the business needs.
