We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Baby Room Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in childcare or early childhood education. As a Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in managing daily operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and leading a team of staff members. Your leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively will be essential in fostering a positive atmosphere for both children and staff.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations within the nursery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Lead and manage a team of childcare staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and any concerns. Develop and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the needs of children. Monitor the wellbeing of children, ensuring they are safe, happy, and engaged. Maintain accurate records of children's activities, attendance, and incidents as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their developmental needs. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided within the nursery setting. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills. Previous experience working directly with children in a nursery or similar environment is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.65-12.80 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
