What We're Looking For


We're after a Room Leader who is as passionate about early years education as they are about leading and inspiring others.

You'll be a great fit if:

You're warm, approachable and naturally supportive You can lead with confidence while keeping a playful spirit You're happy to sing (in tune or not), laugh at toddler jokes, and give out plenty of cuddles You can memorise an impressive number of names, pets, and favourite teddies You're unfazed by glitter in your hair or mysterious paint stains on your clothes You can handle curious questions like "Do you have a dog?", "Are you married?", and "Why not?" without missing a beat You're comfortable with the fact that the child who adores you during the week might pretend not to know you in the supermarket Most importantly, you're ready to be an important and consistent figure in the lives of young children and their families

Your Role as Room Leader


As a Room Leader, you'll be responsible for creating an environment that supports both children and staff to flourish. You'll lead your room with vision, energy and care.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and developing your team, setting high standards and fostering a positive team culture Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities in collaboration with your team Overseeing high-quality teaching and learning in line with the EYFS Monitoring children's development and supporting your team with effective assessment Acting as a key person for a small group of children, building strong bonds with them and their families Ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment every day Working closely with parents and carers, maintaining open, honest communication

What You'll Need



A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification Previous experience as a Room Leader or in a similar leadership role A strong understanding of the EYFS and child development Confidence in leading a team and supporting their growth Passion, energy, and a real commitment to high-quality early years care

Pay: Up to 34,000.00 per year
