Job Title: Room Leader - Preschool

Hours: 40 hours per week on a rota basis. Monday - Friday

Responsible to: Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, Third in Charge

Our client is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Room Leader to join their supportive management team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by leading a team of nursery practitioners and fostering a positive, collaborative atmosphere for both staff and children.

Role Highlights:

Lead and inspire a team of nursery practitioners, ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding are upheld at all times.
Be a positive role model for the children in your care, guiding their development through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
Promote teamwork and effective communication, creating strong partnerships between staff and parents.
Elevate the quality of care by implementing thoughtful assessment and planning processes, and embracing continuous reflective practice.

What our Client is looking for:
A recognised childcare qualification (Level 3 or above in Early Childhood Education) or equivalent experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding procedures and statutory requirements in early years settings.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with staff, parents, and children.
A deep understanding of child development theories and the ability to apply them in practice.
A collaborative team player who leads by example and fosters a supportive environment.
A commitment to your professional development and staying informed on the latest best practices in early years education.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Hours: 40 hours. 5 days a week

Salary: Up to 30,500k

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,500.00 per year
