Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has become available at Pixieland Stoke. We are looking for a part time Nursery Room leader, to fit well within their friendly team and learn skills on the job whilst supporting children's play, learning & development. We are looking for a professional attitude, but with a sense of fun and excitement as this allows our children to thrive within our nursery family environment. Main duties

Leading and supporting your team Creating programmes and activities for the children Keep records of children's development and liaise with parents Upholding safeguarding practices with your team Preparing and maintaining environments to meet children's needs Supporting your team to develop their role with the help of your manager Complete transfer documents and ensure they meet EYFS requirements

Skills required

Good communication Able to use a computer Leadership Adaptable Ability to work as a team

Personal Qualities

Polite Patient and punctual Diligent Trustworthy Reliable Confidentiality essential

Qualifications:

Must hold NVQ level 3 in childcare or above Minimum of 2 years experience in childcare
