We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic

Room Team Leader (Level 3)

to join our warm and supportive nursery team in

London N2

.

As a Room Team Leader, you will take charge of the daily operations of your assigned room, guiding a team of practitioners and ensuring exceptional care, learning, and development for every child.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of practitioners within the room, providing guidance, support, and motivation Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment based on the EYFS framework Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and age-appropriate activities Monitor children's progress, maintain records, and share updates with parents Ensure high standards of care, hygiene, and safeguarding at all times Liaise with senior management to ensure policies and procedures are effectively followed Support and mentor junior staff, including apprentices and students

Requirements:

Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (Essential) Proven experience in a nursery setting, ideally in a supervisory or senior role Excellent leadership and communication skills In-depth knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations Passionate, professional, and reliable approach to childcare
