We are now seeking a Rope Access Equipment, Tools & Plant (RTP) Manager to join our senior management team. This role is critical to our operations, ensuring that equipment & transport logistics are handled safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assigning and preparing equipment for live projects
Loading and unloading equipment at the depot
Overseeing maintenance and inspections of equipment and plant (in line with PUWER regulations)
Managing rope access and lifting equipment in compliance with LOLER standards
Scheduling vehicle servicing and coordinating with local garages
Managing depot and stores operations, including risk assessments
Maintaining accurate documentation for audit and compliance purposes
Working closely with Project Managers and Directors to meet project timelines
Essential Requirements
Positive and proactive attitude
Strong team player
Committed to health and safety best practices
Ability to adapt to short notice changes and operational needs
Full UK driving licence
Ideal Experience (
or able to obtain)
Experience in working-at-height industries or similar
IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
LOLER inspection certification
Forklift truck licence
PAT testing certification
