Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Team Manager to join our club. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for coaching football and guiding team members. This role is essential in fostering a positive environment, ensuring that all team members are engaged and working towards common goals. A background in football coaching is advantageous, as it equips the team with the skills to motivate and develop individuals effectively.

Duties

Lead and inspire a team to achieve set objectives while maintaining high enjoyment. Educate team members on best practices, policies, and procedures to enhance their skills and knowledge. Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages open communication and feedback. Monitor team performance, providing constructive feedback and support to help individuals reach their potential. Organise training sessions to allow continous development of the team. Address any issues or conflicts within the team promptly and effectively, ensuring a harmonious workplace. Report on team progress and challenges to upper management. Attend training sessions on Wednesday evenings and matches on Sunday mornings. In and around the north London area.

Requirements

Proven experience in a leadership role, within a football setting. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and engage diverse groups. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clarity and encouragement. A background in sports coaching is highly desirable, demonstrating an ability to educate and inspire others. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to lead independently when required. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.00-22.50 per hour
