Overview

Our client, a lovely British family based in Central London, is offering an excellent opportunity for a nurturing and professional Rota Nanny, or for an experienced Nanny looking to move into their first Rota position.



The role involves caring for their two young boys, aged 4 and 1, within a supportive household and structured household. Combining both sole and shared care, this two week on/off position requires confidence to work independently whilst collaborating closely with the parents. The ideal candidate will be kind and calm with proven experience caring for children of similar ages. A confident driver is essential. Nursery duties, including organising engaging activities and preparing healthy meals, are part of the day-to-day routine.



The family frequently travel to Europe during the summer months, and the nanny will be expected to accompany them. The eldest child started school in September. There are no pets in the household.



Applicants will be expected to sign an NDA.

Job duties

Responsibilities of the Rota Nanny for two children, include:


Providing a fun, stimulating, and nurturing environment for the children Supporting their development, learning, and independence through play and activities Planning and preparing healthy, nutritious meals for the children Taking the children to playdates, classes, parks, and outdoor activities Handling all nursery duties, including laundry (washing, ironing) and keeping bedrooms and play areas tidy Working closely with the parents and the other rota nanny to ensure seamless care Travelling with the family on holidays

Candidates must be/have:

Experience working as a Nanny, caring for children of a similar age Rota nanny experience (desirable but not essential) The right to work in the UK Highly organised with excellent communication skills Able to act on their own initiative and maintain professional boundaries Comfortable with both sole charge and shared care responsibilities A confident driver (essential) Discreet and respectful of the family's privacy

Accommodation

London: Offsite accommodation provided in Victoria, which is 15 mins.



A bedroom can also be provided, if the Nanny is babysitting.



Accommodation will be provided during travel.

Hours

Rota schedule: Two weeks on/off.



Flexibility for 24-hour cover is required.

Plus occasional EU travel over the summer.

Salary & Benefits

50,000.



The family will cover any flights during periods of travel.
