We are looking to recruit a Rotary Sales and Operations Officer working full time to form a key part of the Saxon Air Helicopters Operation. In this role, you will be trained and developed to support the Saxon Air Helicopters Team in selling and planning charter and special mission flights

COMPANY DESCRIPTION



We are a business aircraft and helicopter operator based at Norwich Airport in our purpose-built Business Aviation Centre and hangar facility, designed specifically to be multi-functional, to meet the demands when serving the offshore transportation sector as well as offering excellence when meeting the needs of our business and general aviation users using our customer lounge. THE ROLE & CANDIDATE



We are looking for an exceptionally dedicated person, preferably with some operations control experience, who has the potential to develop in a variety of directions and take on different roles within the helicopter team. Working in this role will involve solving a wide range of operational and logistical problems. The best candidate will have the following essential qualifications / attributes:

A strong ability to communicate through writing and telephone. Attention to detail is vital Ability to complete projects with high autonomy Self-motivation and team spirit Foresight, awareness and the ability to problem solve Openness in giving and receiving feedback Mindful of lessons learnt A drive to question and improve everything about our organisation Diplomacy. Being good with people Discipline and focus Capacity to identify and prospect new customers Proficiency with MS suite of programs. Heliplan, Schedaero and Centrik knowledge is an advantage Ultra-high net worth, luxury and private aviation sector experience is desirable but not necessary

Responsibilities and Duties (continuous training will be given)



Maintain and develop customer and supplier relations Quoting, selling and then planning helicopter charters and special missions. Optimise the schedule Manage and coordinate aircraft availability, handling and third-party services Optimising busy schedules. Flight planning and flight following. Sales, trips and customer support. Timely internal and external communication with stakeholders. Support business priorities and needs. Client and airport visits to our multiple bases in the UK. Ensuring all flights are safe and compliant with the CAA and our operations manuals.

Essential Requirements



Able to commute to Norwich, NR6 6JT Full UK driving license Flexible approach to working Interest in Aviation. Ability to multitask and prioritise. Ability to work one weekend a month.

Desirable Requirements



Previous Aviation experience Customer service experience

Fundamentals



This is a Full-Time contract, based in Norwich, but some home working may be facilitated.

Our current pay is aligned with the Real Living Wage.

You must have an existing and ongoing right to work in the UK under current Immigration rules to be considered for this role.
