Job Description

About the role

Are you looking to start or further your career in an idyllic Island setting?

As a highly motivated, forwarding thinking, and patient-focused

Rotational Pharmacist

, you will be joining our friendly and collaborative Pharmacy Department at Noble's Hospital on the Isle of Man, where you will be supported throughout your career, with investment in your progression and funding for postgraduate diplomas and prescribing qualifications.

Pharmacy at Noble's Hospital enjoys excellent working relationships with other members of the multidisciplinary team. In your rotational role, you will gain experience in a wide variety of settings, gaining skills and confidence.

Newly qualified or looking for a career change?

These posts have been structured to allow progression after a period of in-house training and experience. For the first two years, this will be an 'Annex U' post, where you will undertake training in line with the RPS Post Registration Foundation Pharmacist Curriculum and receive a salary that is a proportion of the Band 7 salary. Once this period of training is complete, you will have the opportunity to progress to a full Band 7 position with no need for further interviews.

Already experienced as a pharmacist?

Applications for the Band 7 position, bypassing the Annex U period, will be welcomed from Pharmacists who already have relevant post-registration hospital experience or postgraduate qualifications.

If you have friendly enthusiasm and a positive attitude to learning, we'd love you to join our team!

A workplace that invests in you

Enjoy higher salaries compared to the UK, along with annual salary increases that extend beyond typical UK NHS pay scales.

For Annex U posts, you'll be supported to develop your knowledge and skills whilst in this Trainee role by taking on qualified Band 7 duties. You'll receive a percentage of the maximum fully qualified rate, which will increase as you get closer to qualifying.
