We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Rough caster to be used currently on a subcontracted basis with the possibility of this turning into a full time position.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working at height, carrying out works on chimneys and older buildings as well as willing to travel and stay across Scotland.
Driving license is desirable.
Responsibilities
Perform bricklaying and masonry work, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
Conduct roofing activities such as installation, repairs, and maintenance with attention to detail.
Support the use of various building materials and ensure proper handling throughout each project phase.
Maintain a clean and organised worksite, following health and safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within specified timelines.
Experience
Proven experience in bricklaying and masonry, is highly desirable.
Prior experience working on construction sites, older buildings.
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to building trades.
Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
