The role
As a Roving Mechanical Technician, you\'ll have a role that\'s out of the ordinary. You will ensure the equipment on our client sites are well maintained and inspected regularly to be in line with statutory requirements.

Day to day, you\'ll interpretate and implement the task, including the associated quality requirements:

• Completion of the scope of work to time and budget constraints.
• Timely production/completion of any appropriate documentation and records associated with the task (Assembly & Test Plans for example).
• Maintaining good communications between Sites, EDF energy (where applicable) with updates on progress, issues and possible resolutions
• Operate within all legislative requirements, meeting the guidance provided in the Approved Codes of Practice (ACoP).

Essential experience of the Roving Mechanical Technician:

• Extensive site experience within a highly regulated industry
• Nuclear site experience is desirable
• EDF site experience is desirable
• Previous experience working to ISO9001 standards is desirable

This is a full time, onsite role at locations Leicester/Heysham/Hartlepool and Torness. There will be a lot of travel involved in this role.

Qualifications for the Roving Mechanical Technician:

• Apprenticeship and or minimum HNC level relevant mechanical modules

The successful candidate must be able to achieve CTC security clearance for this role.
