Etex are seeking a Day Mechanical Technician to join the Engineering team!

Bristol based

Competitive salary depending on experience

Reporting into the maintenance engineer, this role this role will play a huge part in delivering reliable performance for our plant, through high quality preventative work, PM and routine maintenance tasks. This position will be a key role as part of the Bristol plant expansion with some exciting challenges ahead!

What you\'ll do

• Compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards.
• Maintenance of machinery and equipment to meet customer and reliability requirements and maintaining equipment in the Workshop.
• Site maintenance mechanical preventative maintenance duties.
• Undertaking fan balancing tasks using specialist equipment
• Undertaking laser alignment using specialist equipment
• Undertaking Basic CBM tasks
• Project involvement including assisting the project team to achieve the required outcome
• Creating and completing accurate records and logs of maintenance activities in the business CMMS
• Participating in RCA sessions such as the EWO process
• Stored energy, fluid power and other mechanical Isolations and Maintenance
• Working with the production and quality operations teams to optimise plant parameters in order to exceed BP, ME and OEE Metrics

What you\'ll bring

Critical and Important:

• NVQ Level 3 engineering
• Frontline, hands-on maintenance experience in the manufacturing environment
• Experience working with Preventative Maintenance strategies.
• Strong working knowledge of roller and belt conveying systems
• Strong working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Desirable:

• CBM Experience
• Good working knowledge of powder transportation systems (blowing, screw conveying etc.)
• Good working knowledge of milling & grinding systems.
