The Sports Department at St George's Weybridge is a vibrant and enjoyable place to work. We are seeking a Rugby Coach to join our well-resourced department and embrace all aspects of St George's life. The College has a strong tradition of playing Rugby and boasts a competitive fixture list, participating in the National Schools Competitions at both Senior and U15's. The college has 8 rugby pitches on-site with additional space for training. Each year group has timetabled games and an after school practice every week, with matches traditionally taking place on Saturdays during the winter term.
As part of the Rugby team, your role will include assisting the Head of Rugby to develop and improve Rugby at the College, to act as the technical coach for school teams during the Christmas Term and be responsible for a team(s) including weekend fixtures and to inspire pupils of all abilities to enjoy the game of Rugby. The College additionally runs a sevens programme during the Easter term, with the opportunity for additional hours for the successful candidate.
The ideal candidate will have experience of having played or coached to a high standard, be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with the ability to coach, support and develop students of all abilities. RFU Level 2 or 3 coaching award or similar is desirable.
