Rural Community Care Worker - East Devon Villages



Salary:

Up to 26,000 per year (Full-Time Equivalent)

Pay Model:

Paid for your ENTIRE shift (including travel & gaps, NOT just per visit)

Mileage:

45p per mile travel allowance

Contract:

Full-Time or Part-Time

Essential:

We're looking for kind, dependable individuals to be a lifeline for clients living in remote East Devon communities. If you're confident driving on country lanes, you'll play a vital role in bringing care, comfort, and companionship to those who need it most.

The Role: Making a Real Impact



As a Community Care Worker, you'll deliver essential, person-centred care that helps people remain independent and safe in their own homes.

Your daily impact includes:



Personal Support:

Assisting with washing, dressing, and toileting

Home & Health:

Preparing meals, supporting hydration, and administering medication

Companionship:

Providing emotional support and mobility assistance

Household Help:

Tidying, changing linens, and light domestic tasks

Logistics:

Recording visits and notes easily using our Beehive Care app

Hours Designed to Work for You



Full-Time:

37.5 hours per week over 5 days (includes alternate weekends)

Part-Time:

Flexible shifts, minimum of 3+ morning or evening shifts per week

Extra Earning:

Optional additional shifts available via our Click to Care app

What We're Looking For



Full UK driving licence & reliable car (essential) Confidence driving in rural areas and country lanes A caring, dependable nature and resilience for rural care Comfort using a smartphone for rotas and care notes Right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorship)
