Ruskin is a unique place. Our story began two centuries ago in 1899 and today we have a well-earned reputation as a ground-breaking college, combining life-transforming education with an unerring commitment to social justice and a better world.
Our mission is to provide the best level of education and inclusion opportunities to adults - particularly those who may be excluded or disadvantaged - and to transform the individuals concerned along with the communities, groups and societies from which they came.
The College has a strong commitment to social justice and the empowerment of individuals and communities. Our priorities are to ensure an exceptional level of academic achievement to the most underrepresented groups.
Ruskin College has a long and illustrious history of teaching and makes a real contribution to the lives of individuals with a background of disadvantage.
