We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our compassionate veterinary team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to animals, supporting veterinarians, and ensuring the wellbeing of our patients. Duties
Assist veterinarians during consultations, surgeries, and examinations
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed
Monitor anaesthetic and post-operative recovery of animals
Collect and process laboratory samples for diagnostic testing
Maintain accurate medical records and update patient files
Provide pre- and post-operative care to animals in the clinic
Support clients with advice on animal health, nutrition, and general care
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the veterinary clinic and equipment
Assist with laboratory procedures, including sample preparation and analysis
Requirements
Previous veterinary experience is highly desirable
Laboratory experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for specific tasks
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Compassionate approach towards animals and their owners
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills in British English
Ability to work flexibly within scheduled shifts, including weekends if required
