St Michael's Hospice Retail is responsible for the operation of the chain of St Michael's Hospice charity shops, e-commerce and the Donation Centre. We are currently seeking a Manager for our Rye Shop.
Within this role you will manage a team of volunteers, requiring excellent communication and organisational skills. The role will also include cashing up, sorting donations, pricing, rotating and ordering stock. You will also be responsible for the development and implementation of new and inventive ways to maximise income and reach targets. You will be confident in the management and promotion of Gift Aid and encouraging customers to sign up.
You will be responsible for ensuring that our Charity Shops are clean and visually inviting providing a positive shopping experience for our customers, whilst making them a rewarding place to work through volunteer training and recruitment. You will be responsible for delivering as much profit as possible to support the work of St Michael's Hospice.
