Blackburn with Darwen Adult Safeguarding Board is passionate and ambitious about ensuring that local partners deliver safe and effective services for our communities and workforce. As such we are looking to recruit a Business Manager for our Adult Safeguarding Board as part of our Safeguarding Partnerships team.
The Business Manager will oversee that all the statutory functions of Adult Safeguarding Boards as set out in the Care Act guidance are undertaken, through developing strong relationships with other statutory partnerships overseeing the welfare of adults in the borough. The Business Manager will promote relationships with local, regional and national partners and stakeholders, including in the voluntary sector to ensure the work of the Adult Safeguarding Board allows all the partner agencies to effectively safeguard adults in the area.
All the functions of the Adult Safeguarding Board require co-produced initiatives and the candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive experience of working with senior executives, safeguarding leads, frontline workers and the adults we safeguard in the community.
