About the Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a Safer Roads Camera Technician within Justice Services. The aim within the Safer Road Partnership team is to reduce the number of people killed and seriously injured on the road by changing driver behaviour through education, engineering and enforcement.
This role will see you operating throughout Staffordshire and you will be expected to represent the Force in a professional manner. You will be engaging and communicating with a wide range of individuals from members of the general public through to children within a classroom environment.
The team are based at Headquarters and the role will require you to work both alone with minimum supervision and as part of a team providing associated office duties and dealing with incoming enquiries.
Due to the nature of this unique role, you will be required to undertake and pass a Police Driving assessment in order for you to be able to drive certain police vehicles and tow trailers.
This is a full time role that includes shift and weekend working. You will also be working Monday to Sunday on a 6 week shift pattern.
