Job Description

Do you want to be the link between Operations and Global HSEQS?



DeepOcean is looking for an experienced and proactive Safety Coach for an offshore position to strengthen the connection between our offshore operations and the Global HSEQS team.



In this key role, you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of our HSEQS management systems and safe systems of work. You will provide coaching, training, and on-site support, contribute to performance reporting, and actively gather insights and best practices from the field.



We are looking for someone with strong offshore experience and a solid background in safety management who is passionate about driving meaningful improvements in health, safety, environment, quality, and sustainability.



Duties and responsibilities



Assess and analyze the application, compliance, and effectiveness of DeepOcean's HSEQS management system.

Provide coaching and training on HSEQS systems and safe systems of work at operational worksites.

Represent Global HSEQS at offshore and operational sites, acting as a key interface to promote best practices and gather feedback.

Contribute to training and improvement initiatives, including the development of training materials, digital tools, and governing documents.

Support the development, review, and implementation of Safe Systems of Work (SSoW), digital risk assessments, and Toolbox Talk (TBT) processes.

Prepare and deliver HSEQS reports for relevant stakeholders, supporting both leading and lagging indicators.

Assist the Group Training and Safety Lead with strategic HSEQS initiatives and reporting.

Assist Group Training and Safety Lead with Safety coach planning, scheduling, administration, and program execution.



Skills and qualifications



Minimum 5 years of experience in an HSEQS-related role.

Relevant industry background, preferably offshore.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSEQS-related software platforms.

Strong writing and presentation skills, with an emphasis on clarity and simplicity.

Self-driven with strong time management skills.

Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Comfortable working both independently and in teams.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
