Expert Ease Training Ltd is dedicated to fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for staff and clients alike. We are seeking a certified trainers in one or more of the following:

Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Safety Intervention Trainer/ Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression / Conflict Management Training

to lead and facilitate CPI Safety Intervention training programs across our organization. This role is crucial in equipping staff with the skills and knowledge to prevent and respond to challenging behaviours safely and effectively.

Position Summary:



The CPI Safety Intervention Trainer will be responsible for delivering CPI training courses to staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards and organisational policies. The Trainer will also collaborate with leadership to enhance crisis prevention strategies and promote a culture of safety and de-escalation.

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver engaging and effective CPI Safety Intervention training to employees across departments. Maintain active CPI Trainer Certification and ensure all training is in accordance with CPI guidelines. Assist in the development and customization of training materials to meet the specific needs of various teams. Track training attendance and completion, maintaining accurate records for auditing and compliance purposes. Provide ongoing support, coaching, and consultation to staff post-training. Monitor incidents and feedback to inform future training sessions or interventions. Stay current with CPI updates and best practices in crisis prevention and response.

Qualifications:



Required:



Current CPI Certified Instructor (Safety Intervention or higher). Minimum 2 years of experience delivering CPI or similar safety/crisis prevention training. Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills. Ability to manage and respond to challenging situations with professionalism and calm. High level of organisation and attention to detail. Proficiency in using digital platforms for training and recordkeeping. Driving licence and own vehicle required.

Preferred:



Background in education, healthcare, behavioural health, social services, or corrections. Experience in adult learning, instructional design, or training program evaluation. CPR/First Aid certification.

Working Conditions:



Travel will be required to multiple sites or facilities. Physical ability to demonstrate holds and safety manoeuvres as taught in CPI curriculum. May involve occasional evening or weekend training sessions.
