We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive kitchen experience and a strong background in food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high quality and presentation standards. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Develop new menu items and update existing offerings based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Strong leadership qualities, fostering a positive work atmosphere among team members. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with an understanding of customer service principles. Pay: 12.21-20.07 per hour
