Contract Information

Continuity of service for NHS roles is not recognised beyond employment with HCL, as we are not a part of NHS service trusts or authorities.
Probation provisions include a six-month period with full guidance and support.
Annual salary increases remain discretionary, reviewed by the HCL board, considering national NHS uplifts, but are not contractually guaranteed. Benefits such as annual leave (30 days plus 8 public holidays pro-rata), HCL's enhanced maternity leave, and sick pay differ from the BMA standard provisions.
Standard notice is 3 months, with standard PILON clauses in place.
