An exciting opportunity to join the team at Park Green Surgery, Macclesfield, has become available. Were looking for a salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team of 5 GP partners and 4 salaried GPs. We do our best to retain the best aspects of traditional family medicine, whilst embracing change, continuous improvement and innovation. Were based in the heart of Macclesfield with a list size of approximately 12,600 patients spanning varied demographics.
The practice is part of the Macclesfield Primary Care Network (PCN), which is made up of Park Green and five other surgeries who all work alongside each other, within the same purpose-built medical centre. We have a great working relationship and together use resources effectively to increase capacity as well as staff and patient satisfaction.
Main duties of the job
Were an established, well-run and highly regarded GMS and training practice, using a triage model since 2023. Were looking for a Salaried GP for between 4-6 sessions per week, which will include a Friday. We need a team player who is keen to support the ongoing growth and development of the practice.
Our services include minor ops, contraception and extended hours. The role would involve working some early and late sessions as part of our contract. We rotate the early and late shifts along with the duty/triage GP shifts and strive to allow all colleagues a good life work balance.

Medical student/FY1-3/GPVTS teaching practice
Keen to support GPs with special interests and development
High QOF & IIF Achievements and a high performing practice in the area
CQC rated us as overall Good during a 2025 inspection
