Provide general medical services to registered patients, including consultations, telephone triage, home visits, and clinical administration. Undertake assessment, diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and management of patients with acute and long-term conditions. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient records in accordance with GMC and practice requirements. Prescribe medication and treatments in line with current legislation and clinical guidance.
Participate in the management of patients with complex and multiple health needs. Contribute to the achievement of Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF), Enhanced Services, and other performance targets. Participate in practice clinical governance activities including audit, significant event review, and risk management. Attend and contribute to practice meetings, multi-disciplinary team meetings, and safeguarding processes as required.
Comply with safeguarding responsibilities for both adults and children. Work in accordance with infection control, information governance, confidentiality, and health and safety policies. Participate in appraisal and revalidation processes, maintaining appropriate continuing professional development.
