Opportunity for new or experienced GPs to join our forward thinking, fun and hard working team.
We have a fabulous multidisciplinary team with Paramedic - minor illness and visiting, Clinical
Pharmacist, Physiotherapist Practitioner, Minor Illness nurse, Women's health nurse, Practice nurses, GP assistant, Health care assistants, Care navigators and a knowledgeable and supportive admin team. We have on-site dispensaries and a dedicated Dispensary team, who help us support our semi rural community with medications.
We train GP registrars, medical students and actively promote professional development and peer mentoring. We offer paid study leave and mentorship to team members. We offer opportunities to develop a varied portfolio career and to be involved in diversifying and growing our practice. Many of our team have outside interests including ICB roles, training and examining roles.
We have excellent local hospitals including Royal Berkshire and John Radcliffe with whom we have good working relationships and network of colleagues to share learning and support. We have excellent community supporting services including Sue Ryder Palliative Care, Townlands Community Hospital with
Rapid Access Care Unit, Community Urgent Response teams.
We are based in a beautiful part of the country, with quick, easy links to London, Oxford, Reading. We have excellent facilities, schools and housing in our villages and surrounding areas.
What is on offer?
Salaried GP roles - sessions negotiable 4-6
Salary - highly competitive
NHS terms and conditions, 6 weeks annual leave, 1 week study leave (pro rata)
Standard Day - 15 minute appointments, capped number of appointments per session/day
Minimal visiting, streamlined and protected admin time, Buddy teams
Regular practice social events
