Waterfield House Surgery

have an opportunity for a Salaried GP for 5-6 sessions per week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) to join our team starting ASAP.

Waterfield House is a thriving teaching practice in Pembury, West Kent with c.6500 patients. The team comprises 5 GPs (4 of whom are partners), a practice and assistant practice manager, a well-established nursing and HCA team, and a large PCN team including Musculoskeletal Practitioners, Clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, paramedic practitioners, mental health practitioner, and mental health navigators, all supported by a fantastic administrative and care navigation team which is led by our very capable managers. We also have GP Registrars and/or Foundation Years students.

Welcome and support if you are a newly qualified GP A supportive and happy team to work within A named list system Excellent working relationships with the PCN A weekly practice meeting and a monthly clinical meeting (10 per year) Use of EMIS, Docman 10 and Anima Most recent CQC rating is "Good" High earning QOF Practice Experienced nursing support including diabetes specialist nursing, respiratory clinics, and sexual health/contraception fitting.

Main duties of the job

Provide high-quality patient care Conduct surgery, telephone, and video consultations, plus occasional home visits Liaise with colleagues and external providers to ensure seamless care Investigate and refer patients appropriately, in line with guidance Review results and correspondence promptly Provide cover for colleagues when required Collect and review data for audit and QOF purposes Maintain excellent communication with patients and carers Attend clinical, governance, and educational meetings Work collaboratively and effectively within the team Manage your own workload and resources effectively Attend required training events and feedback sessions Report and follow up on significant incidents
