We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient population across various settings, including clinics, nursing homes, and home care environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of health conditions, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety. Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses across all age groups
Prescribe medications and administer treatments following current clinical guidelines
Utilise medical imaging and other diagnostic tools to support accurate diagnoses
Provide specialised care in areas such as senior care, hospice, or home care as needed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans
Educate patients on health management, prevention strategies, and medication use
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with legal and organisational standards
Engage in continuous professional development, including staying current with advances in clinical research and anatomy knowledge
Qualifications
Medical degree recognised by relevant professional bodies
Valid registration as a General Practitioner with the General Medical Council (GMC) or equivalent authority
Proven experience in patient care within general practice or specialised fields such as ICU, nursing home, or hospice care
Knowledge of anatomy, medication administration, and public health principles
Experience with medical imaging techniques is advantageous
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient groups
Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a healthcare team
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards
