Overview


We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for driving sales performance. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and achieving sales targets. This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise the sales team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals. Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their sales techniques and customer service skills. Monitor sales performance metrics and provide feedback to team members to improve results. Ensure high standards of phone etiquette are maintained during customer interactions. Manage inventory levels and assist in merchandising strategies to optimise product displays. Communicate effectively with upper management regarding team performance and operational needs. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the sales process. Organise staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.

Qualifications



Proven experience in sales management or retail management is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Proficient in supervising staff while maintaining a focus on achieving sales targets. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Ability to analyse sales data and implement strategies for improvement. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on customer satisfaction.
