Rachael's Kitchen is recruiting for a Sales Account Manager to join our growing team based in our Worthing bakery.

Our B2B sales represents a significant revenue vertical, the right candidate must be confident speaking directly to customers on the phone as well as concise and professional with email communications. Building relationships is pivotal to ensure we deliver a campaign accurately and effectively. We work with a range of industries; our verticals are varied and interesting, with business sizes ranging from SMEs to large corporations. Understanding the importance behind every campaign is key to creating a bespoke and impactful experience.
As a Sales Account Manager, you will play a key role within our corporate sales function from initial quote to managing fulfilment of an order. Duties include but are not limited to: -
- answering customer telephone calls, emails and live chats,
- quoting, and negotiating to secure the business.
- handling and resolving customer service and delivery issues
- administration duties to facilitate the smooth operation of the business each day.
Responsibilities:
- Interaction with new, existing and potential clients.
- Expand relationships via telephone, emails and live chat
- Respond to customer enquiries accordingly within a timely and professional manner.
- Diarise and manage orders in the corporate diary
- Work closely with the management team, including the bakery, to ensure large orders can be facilitated in the required time.
- Raise and monitor invoices to ensure they are paid
- Arrange design mock-ups for customers to showcase how the finished product will look
- Advise customers on product information and collect client feedback.
- Deal with couriers daily, checking on deliveries and raising delivery labels.
- Support members of the team in their roles, realising the position may cross all areas of the business.
Essential Skills / Experience:

- IT skills, in particular, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
- Experience of WooCommerce and Shopify would be an advantage but not essential.
- Previous commercial sales background is advantageous
We work as a team and there is also the requirement to assist with B2C customer fulfilment as they go hand in hand with managing corporate sales. Within our small team there is a culture of pulling as a team and interest in all moving parts of the customer service and fulfilment roles.
Current operating hours are 9am to 5:30pm, Monday-Friday. Our Customer Service teamwork from 8:00am to 4.30pm to ensure all orders for that day are prepared prior to the start of the bakery teams working day. Due to seasonality for the B2C consumer, this role will include some occasional weekend work during key calendar gifting periods and hours may change during peak times such as Christmas, when we necessitate 7-day operations on a rota basis. This role is required to be office based and you will be expected to manage your own working hours and routine to best suit business needs.
This is a full-time, permanent position. After an initial 3-month probationary period access to the company contribution free private medical scheme will be granted as well as our bonus scheme.
Salary: 26,000-29,500 per year depending on experience
