, and play a key role in expanding our global footprint and delivering exceptional value to our clients and distributors as a Sales Account Manager.
About the Role:
As a key member of our Sales team (based in Birmingham), you'll be responsible for managing existing client accounts, developing new business across diverse markets, and supporting distributor relationships both in the UK and internationally. This is an office-based role with occasional travel for customer visits and trade exhibitions.
What You'll Do:
Develop and execute strategies to grow the customer base and support new product development.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various markets and territories.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and distributors.
Prepare and follow up on commercial offers and quotations.
Support marketing initiatives including campaigns, promotions, and trade shows.
Provide training and onboarding for distributors.
Conduct market research and explore new geographical areas for expansion.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and support order processing via ERP systems.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in technical sales or account management, ideally in B2B environments.
Strong commercial and technical acumen.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
Ability to travel periodically, including overseas.
Desirable:
Experience in direct sales of technical products.
Knowledge of Ex or hazardous area industries.
Electrical or electronic qualifications.
