Korea Foods Company is a family-owned importer, distributor, and retailer of Korean and other Asian food. We are the largest importer of Korean food in Europe, distribute to 1200 wholesale customers, including the major multiples, and operate 17 retail shops in the UK.

Contract:
Permanent, Full-time, Subject to 3-month probation
Working Hours: 42.5 per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 - 18:00
Main Purpose & Scope of the Job
The SAM will be responsible for successfully developing sales with new and existing accounts, primarily within the Oriental sector. The successful candidate should be able to communicate exceptionally well within the Oriental sector, understanding the cultural needs of our accounts.
Duties & Key Responsibilities
Effectively manage the day-to-day operation of the accounts, liaising between departments to ensure that customers are serviced to the highest standards.
Work with the senior management to agree and execute the sales strategy.
Work with the senior management to improve margin and drive increased volume.
Negotiate improved terms with existing accounts.
Ad Hoc duties related to the business as requested or required by the senior management.
Person Specification
Excellent communication skills with emphasis on listening
Ability to communicate effectively within the Oriental sector
Business fluent in English & Mandarin/Korean
Exceptional self-motivation.
A positive thinker who can find solutions rather than report problems.
Possess a "can-do and will-do" attitude.
High numeracy levels, with high proficiency in excel and data analysis.
Adaptable to the working culture within our company, which can be ambiguous and hands-on.
Ability to be sensitive towards other cultures within the workplace.
Have a co-operative approach working with other departments within the business.
Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and other constraints of a growing business, whilst maintaining attention to quality & detail.
