We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with clients, driving business growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in B2B sales & account management, with a proven ability to develop relationships over the phone and at conferences and events. You will play a crucial role in understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions that align with our business objectives.
This role is based at our Head Office where you will work closely with our service and production teams. In addition you will be required to attend occasional conferences and exhibitions throughout the UK. Our customer base is global and our company is growing very quickly, therefore future opportunities for career development and travel are available for the right candidate.
This role is 60% existing customer and order management and 40% Business development. We are seeking a relationship builder whom our customers will trust and come back to. Attention to detail and excellent communication (phone and email) and IT skills are essential.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for new business development.
Conduct warm calls to prospective clients to generate leads and drive sales initiatives.
Utilise Monday.com to manage accounts, track sales activities, and analyse performance metrics.
Collaborate with our MD to create effective strategies that enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive account management and timely follow-up on inquiries or issues.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and support to clients.
Qualifications
Proven experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally in a sustainability related industry or managing spare parts and equipment with knowledge of stock management would be useful.
Proven experience in proactively developing long term relationships over the phone
Proficiency in Monday.com for managing client relationships and sales processes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering results.
