We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key client accounts, developing new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in B2B sales, leadership, and excellent communication skills to make a significant impact within our organisation. Experience within the construction and fit-out sector preferred.
Account Manager - (OTE +20k, uncapped for overachievement vs target). London based clients.
The Account Manager will be responsible for all aspects of client account management, ensuring a high level of customer service and supporting both commercial and operational activity across the business focussed on the London client base.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Customer Service
Follow up on client quotations and manage all associated communication.
Assist clients with operational and technical queries via telephone and email, with a strong emphasis on proactive customer service.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activity within the company's Pipedrive platform.
Respond promptly and professionally to all customer queries.
Business Development
Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, trends, customers, partnerships and routes to market.
Identify and engage appropriate contacts within organisations.
Target specific companies for new business, focusing on Estimators, Contracts Managers, QSs and Commercial Managers to drive increased sales across the full product portfolio.
Tendering & Estimating Support
Conduct tender surveys to ensure competitive, accurate and robust pricing.
Support the estimating team in preparing bids and proposals when required.
Track and monitor tender return deadlines to ensure all submissions are compliant, competitive and submitted on time.
Supply Chain Engagement
Build strong relationships with the supply chain to support procurement and project delivery.
Chair supply chain meetings and support negotiation activities to strengthen future procurement strategy.
Project Handover & Pre-Construction
Provide a robust handover process upon project award, ensuring all materials and details are fully signed off.
Follow up tenders and drive negotiated projects through the pre-construction team and client side to ensure compliance and a successful outcome.
General
Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the business.
