We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and experience in B2B sales. You will play a key part in expanding our market presence and ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored solutions and proactive account management.
Duties
Manage a portfolio of existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets to expand the company's client base
Develop customised sales strategies based on thorough analysis of client needs and market trends
Utilise Salesforce to track sales activities, manage customer information, and generate reports for management review
Lead negotiations and close deals effectively while maintaining professional relationships with clients
Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to deliver comprehensive solutions
Analyse sales data to identify patterns, forecast future sales, and inform strategic planning
Provide leadership within the sales team by sharing best practices and mentoring junior staff when appropriate
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments, competitors, and emerging market opportunities
Qualifications
Proven experience in B2B sales with a strong track record of achieving targets
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Strong analysis skills to interpret sales data and market trends effectively
Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing customer relationships and reporting
Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members and lead by example
Organised, proactive, with exceptional negotiation skills and a strategic approach to sales planning
A recognised qualification in sales or marketing is desirable but not essential
