We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an

Internal Account Manager

to join the team at Timba Floors & Boards. Based at our UK Head Office in Stanley, County Durham, we are looking for an ambitious and customer-focused individual with a strong background in sales and customer service.

This role is ideal for someone seeking career progression within a rapidly growing wholesale business that supplies trade customers with an extensive range of flooring products and matching accessories. You will be joining our dedicated office-based sales and customer service team, playing a key role in managing client relationships and driving business growth.

As an Internal Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of accounts, nurturing strong customer relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand and enhance our services. We are looking for a proactive communicator with excellent problem-solving skills, strong commercial awareness, and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities



Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships Act as the primary point of contact, responding promptly to customers' daily needs Generate new business by leveraging existing and potential client networks Conduct regular account reviews to ensure customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement Recommend strategic actions to enhance sales performance and uncover growth opportunities Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding customer service Analyse sales data and market trends within our CRM system to identify growth potential Monitor and report on key account metrics, including revenue growth and customer retention Liaise with and provide support to external account managers regarding inbound enquiries

Requirements



Highly motivated with a strong, results-driven approach Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service Commercially minded with a practical, solutions-focused outlook Exceptional written accuracy and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,500.00-30,000.00 per year
