As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our Internal Sales & Customer Services team.

The Role



As a Sales Administrator, you will be a key part of a small but dynamic team, responsible for handling customer enquiries, processing sales orders, and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service. You will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth sales operations across all channels, working closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve any issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities



Act as the first point of contact for customer service queries, ensuring prompt and professional responses. Process a high volume of sales orders, accurately allocate stock, and manage payments over the phone. Grow existing accounts by proactively upselling and cross-selling products to current and lapsed customers. Identify customer needs and recommend additional or alternative products that add value to their business. Handle out-of-stock items, keeping customers informed and offering suitable alternatives where necessary. Provide accurate information on return dates and process return orders efficiently. Prepare and send quotations for new customers, follow up on enquiries, and arrange sample requests when required. Manage product returns, ensuring stock is correctly handled, refunds are processed, and credit notes are issued. Liaise with courier companies to resolve delivery issues quickly, ensuring customers receive their orders as soon as possible. Process and manage orders across all Amazon marketplaces, maintaining the high service levels required by Amazon.

Skills & Experience Required



Previous experience in a sales administration, customer service, or similar role. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident and personable approach to dealing with customers. Ability to understand customer needs and offer appropriate solutions. Comfortable handling queries, troubleshooting issues, and building relationships with customers. Experience with Profit Plus software is advantageous but not essential (training provided). Sales-driven mindset with a passion for growing customer accounts and maximising revenue.
